Black Friday!

I know that on one of my previous blogs I made the comment that people who go out on black Friday are insane. But I failed to mention that I was one of those people except I went to only two stores. The one and only reason I got my butt out of bed at three-thirty in the morning was to get a phone. I cell phone plan was up on Thanksgiving day and one of the phones I wanted to upgrade to was a steal on black Friday. The Samsung Captivate is a five hundred dollar phone and it is two hundred dollars with an upgrade but on black Friday Radio Shack was offering the phone for free. So yes I got up really early in the morning to stand in front of Radio Shack at four-thirty because the store opened at five-thirty. I was the third person inline standing outside in the cold at four-thirty. Once the doors opened I headed straight for the counter. The lady I was talking with that worked there said that the store only had three and I needed two. I was so excited to get the phone that I wanted and I got it for FREE!

Cold Weather

I have to admit that I am not much for cold weather. Ever since thanksgiving I have been a baby. Yes, I will call myself a baby only because I am always complaining that I am cold. The funny thing is I use to like winter and the snow. Now I could care less if it showed up or not. When I go out for deer hunting in second season I have at least four layers of clothing on. Even when I go to sleep at night I would have on pajama pants and a long sleep shirt on top of having a heated blanket. I just do not understand it...a year and a half ago I was not like this. I would never complain that I was cold or sleep in a long sleeve shirt. I would take a blazing hot day in the mid of summer over a cold snow falling day. I just have a greater love for the sun and being on my jet ski in the water rather than bundled in layers of clothes in play in cold snow. Got to love the cold weather!

Deer Hunting

Ok, so I really debated this year about getting deer tags. The past two years that I have gone out and sat in the stupid cold weather I did not see single deer besides the ones my cousins shot and were dead on the trailer. So this year I got tags anyway. Went out opening morning and same old stuff as last year. I did not see a single deer, and then I had to come to class. While in class I got a text message from my brother. It was a nine point buck and to top that off he was sitting in my stand. The longer I sat in class the more I hated how I had to sit there. About an hour later I got a text message from my dad saying that matt got a deer. I kindly texted him back saying that I already knew. Deer season just does not work out for me this year. I either have to work or I have school to attend. I have thought about giving up on the whole thing but I just love that when you are sitting out in that deer stand and all you hear is the nature around you, it is very peaceful.

Holiday Shopping

All anybody hears these days on TV is commercials about getting your holiday shopping done. I know many people that went out on black Friday and did not even get their holiday shopping done. To me that is a waste of time. The Saturday before black Friday, I told the day and I got all of my holiday shopping done. I even had to do my boyfriend’s this year because he is in Wyoming till the 21st of December. Needless to say he will not be able to get all of his shopping done before Christmas. I managed to get my family, his family, and him done. YES I SAID DONE! All of my holiday shopping is done. Now it is the fun part wrapping it all. I love to wrap gifts. Some can be more changeling than others but that is what makes it fun.  Another thing that I would like to mention besides getting all of my holiday shopping done is, I spent under three hundred dollars. That is amazing! I have to admit though Casey’s (my boyfriend) present is not included in that three hundred dollars. The under three hundred dollars is my family’s gifts and Casey’s family’s gift.

PuPPies!!

No matter what age you are you are going to like those cute little puppies. My neighbor's dog just had puppies on November 16. I woke up to a text message at 7:30 in the morning with a picture of mom and her 7 puppies. My neighbor asked me if I would go over and check on the puppies before I went to work that day just to make sure the puppies were doing fine. Besides Lily (the mom) my neighbor has two other dogs too. So I went over and checked on the puppies. The longer I sat there look at them I began to count. The only thing was I kept counting more than 7. I was counting 9 puppies. So before I left I sent a text message to Lily's owner say that the puppies are ok but I was counting 9 puppies. Seconds after that I got a call asking if I was kidding about 9 puppies. Later that day I send Lily's owner another text asking that when they get home to count the puppies. I got a text back saying there was 10! Lily is now a proud mother of 10. Lily is a golden retriever and we are for sure that the dad is living behind us and he is a yellow lab.

True Love

Do you know how you will know if he is truly the one? I think I do. He should be the one who supports you no matter what. He will catch you when you fall. He will love you no matter how bad you screw up. He will want to show you off to his friends. He listens to you. He accepts who you are. He thinks you are beautiful with no makeup on. He doesn’t care how you dress or how you look. He likes you for you. You two can be dorks together. If you hang up on him because you are aggregated with him...... he will call you back. He will call you 20 times while you are asleep until you answer and still be ok if he falls asleep on you........ When you tell him that you love him he argues with you that he loves you more. They make you smile when you are upset... even when it is making fun of your friends. Or when they make fun of your laugh. When you have the hiccups they think it is cute and make you laugh even harder. Yes this sounds dorky , but it is all true. I am with the guy I LOVE! I am in love with him and he does all of this. Also when i think of him i smile. Yeah you guys might have an argument, but you talk through it and everything ends up being ok in the end. Also he STILL LOVES YOU!!!! When you find someone like this hold on tight and never let them go :). Cherish them with your whole heart. Show them that you love them as much as they love you. Let them know that you feel the same way. You will never regret it. No matter how many miles are between the two of us we will love each other the same!

Very Funny Dogs 3

I just love when I get those chain letters in my email inbox. Most of the time, I will admit, I do not read the message or pass them on. There are a few that I do read that have pictures in them that look like the pictures in the youtube video. These pictures always make me laugh when I am not having the best of days. Don't we all need to laugh at least once a day? These emails are the only emails that I pass along to friends and family. We always talk about the things that make us laugh and enjoy life. Most of the time the emails that have these pictures in them are always brought up. The emails always consist of sayings like; "If you're alone, I'll be your shadow. If you want to cry, I'll be your shoulder. If you want a hug, I'll be your pillow. If you need to be happy, I'll be your smile... But anytime you need a friend, I'll just be me,"  “a friend is the one who comes in when the whole world has gone out” and “a true friend is one who thinks you are a good egg even if you are half-cracked.” They are always the cutest sayings that somehow always go with the pictures.
